South Algonquin Summer Horse Camp
Residential Camp

Our Resident Program runs from Sunday Arrival time between 7:00pm- 8:00pm  to Saturday at 11:30am.  On Saturday at 10:30am the campers will put on a "SHOW" for their parents and guests to watch.  This program provides the children with a good basic working knowledge of horses.  We have a 1:5 ratio of councilors to campers.  In the past we have been told that the kids want to RIDE while they are at camp as a result the campers spend at least 2-3hrs a day riding.  As Resident campers the children will spend a lot of their time in the barn and around the horses.   They also will be doing some special events we plan for each week of Resident camp.  Our program incorporates both beginner and intermediate campers.
**Please note that all our campers are required to wear a properly fitted ASTM/SEI approved Equine Helmet.
